The Matawallen Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Barrister Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, has commended the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, for elevating the Ohinoyi of Ogye (Toto) HRH Alhaji Mohammed Azaki, from second class to first-class status.
Magaji, who is also a senatorial aspirant for Nasarawa West in the just concluded 2023 general election, gave the commendation in a statement he signed and issued to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday.
He said the elevation of the monarch to first-class status is well deserved, adding that such elevation was a clear commitment of the state governor to community development.
He added that the elevation of the traditional ruler will enhance the advancement of traditional institutions and give them a sense of belonging across the state.
Magaji, therefore, called on the people of Toto chiefdom to rally behind the APC-led administration of Engineer Sule to continue to provide viable infrastructures that will impact the lives of people of the area.
