Maulud: Bello tasks FCT residents on peaceful co-existence

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, has called on residents in the territory to live in peace and harmony ahead of the 2019 general elections.

He made this call yesterday while congratulating all Muslims in the FCT on the occasion of the Maulud celebration of the noble Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the Islamic year 1439 after Hijra.

“Let me, therefore, use the occasion of this public holiday to thank all FCT residents for their support to Mr. president, the Federal Government and the FCT Administration.

“As we look forward to the 2019 general elections, I call on all FCT residents to go about politicking and canvassing in peace, harmony and the fear of God Almighty” he said.

The minister further appealed  to the residents of FCT to continue to work for the peace and unity of the country.
