The spiritual leader of the Qadiriyya sect in Nigeria and West Africa, Sheikh Dr Qaribullah Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, has urged Muslims across the world to imbibe the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a way of celebrating him.
This was contained in a Maulud statement issued by the sheik to celebrate this year’s Maulud.

He said the world would have been a better place if all Muslims strove to fully follow the path and teachings of the holy prophet.
He further said that it was very important that Muslim used the period to teach and practice the examples of virtues left behind by the prophet and that of his disciples.
