Max Air commences airlift of pilgrim from Makkah

Max Air, one of the airlines for this year’s hajj operation has commenced airlift of pilgrims back to Nigeria.

A statement from the company, signed by its Public Relations Manager, Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, said the exercise commenced yesterday with pilgrims from Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara states. 

According to the statement, Kwara, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi and Kebbi are in the second set of pilgrims to be returned to Nigeria by the airline.

“We have deployed three aircraft with the capacity of over 500 passengers for the return journey”, he said.

The statement added that the airline was allocated 35,000 pilgrims for this year’s annual pilgrimage.
