The Mazi Organization (TMO) has celebrated Imo women on the occasion of their August meeting.
In a statement issued on behalf of the women by Chief Henry Onwukwe (Apitti), Director-General of TMO, he said, “On behalf of our esteemed founder and principal, Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD (Mazi Gburugburu), I congratulate the good women of Imo State as they gather for this year’s August Meeting (Home and Abroad).
“We are proud of the remarkable achievements of Imo women, whose tireless efforts in nation-building and community development have positively impacted our history.
“Over the years, as dependable pillars of our homes, their uncommon ingenuity and giant strides have greatly complemented our development, and we are thrilled to partner with them once again.
“In view of the foregoing and in line with Dr. Amadi’s tradition of philanthropy, we are pleased to announce the donation of One Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000) to one hundred women’s groups across Imo State, including but not limited to community and faith-based women’s organizations. This gesture underscores our commitment to empowering Imo women and fostering community development. We will in due course, make available the list of beneficiaries of this intervention.
“As Imo women gather for this year’s August Meeting, we assure them of our continued partnership and support for a better and more prosperous Imo State in the days ahead.
“While we look forward to sustaining our collaborative efforts to drive progress and growth in our beloved state, we pray that God grants them safe travels to their respective homes.
“We wish our women fruitful and fulfilling deliberations ahead.”
