The Muslim Community Centre (MCC), Abuja, has put in place necessary measures to establish a university in order to contribute to character molding and intellectual growth of the country.
The chairman, governing board, Senator U. K. Umar, disclosed this in an address at the seventh speech and prize giving ceremony organised by Fou’ad Lababidi Nursery and Primary school over the weekend.
According to him, “the greatest challenge ahead of the centre is the establishment of a university in order to have a complete chain of character building and educational training right from nursery up to university level.”
He disclosed that the centre has acquired 102 hectres of land in Bwari area council of the FCT for the project, saying the planning committee has since been constituted.
