Medical students have been advised to participate in sporting activities to be physically active.
Vice chancellor of the University of Benin (Uniben), Professor Faraday Orumwense, gave the advice while declaring open the 16th Biennial Nigerian Medical Students Association (NiMSA) games hosted by the Uniben Medical Students Association (UBEMSA).
The VC, who was represented by his deputy on administration, Professor Lawrence Ezemwonye, said in addition to studying hard, medical students must take part in sporting activities to be physically active and have better concentration in the classroom.
