Medicine dealers supports Kano’s war against fake drugs

Kano state branch of National Association of Patient and Proprietary Medicine Dealers (NAPPMED) has expressed its support to the current war against sales and consumption of illicit fake and substandard drugs in the state.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the chairman of the association, Hussaini Labaran Fagge and secretary Abubakar Idris Fagge.
According to the statement the association was impressed by measures taken by the state police command, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), and National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) towards addressing the menace of drugs abuse in the state.
The statement further stated that the association was committed to cooperate with the government and all other agencies in the crusade against the sale and consumption of dangerous drugs in the state. It also suggested involving its members in the task force committee against the menace.
