Mediguardians, a firm connected with all the top hospitals in India, says it has launched an online gadget that helps Nigerian medical tourists stay connected to their physicians even when out of the country.

An official of the firm Sunnit Wadha in a chat with Daily Trust said the innovation become necessary in a time like this when a third of the world’s medical travels now involves India plus patients and hospitals demand closer medical relationship with each other which the gadget affords.

"Nigerians are one of our biggest customers in terms of patronising our world class medical facilities and it’s only natural that we’ll want to enlighten the country about our new gadget"

Reacting to the development, , Yakubu Jamilu who was in india twice for brain surgery said mediguardians online gadget is a welcome development.

“It’s wonderful to have an online gadget that could help you maintain that medical link with your treatment facility even when you are not in India, it will help people like us that deserve to be monitored once in a while, so I think it’s an amazing innovation.” He said.

The firm said it also provides services like visa assistance, second opinion and stay for patients traveling to India.
