Nwagu Saviour Chigozirim, popularly known as FunnyFreakc, is a fast-rising Nigerian content creator, comedian, and filmmaker who is taking the online space by storm. With over 2.1 million followers on TikTok, he has quickly become one of the most entertaining and talked-about creators in Nigeria’s digital comedy scene.
Beyond TikTok, FunnyFreakc’s influence spreads across major platforms — boasting over 141,000 followers on Instagram and more than 600,000 followers on Facebook, where his videos consistently pull in millions of views.
Originally from Ehime Mbano, Imo State, and raised in Owerri, FunnyFreakc is a proud graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) where he studied Mechatronics Engineering. Despite his engineering background, his passion for entertainment led him to start creating content in 2015 — and he’s never looked back.
What truly launched him into online fame was his viral “gold digger prank” series, where he tested how ladies responded when approached near expensive cars. These creative and controversial pranks sparked conversations across social media and earned him widespread recognition for his originality, humor, and confidence.
“Making people laugh is my passion. Seeing someone smile because of my content is what keeps me going,” he says.
FunnyFreakc’s videos are known for their suspense, unpredictability, and village-smart humor. From bold street pranks to dramatic skits, his content reflects real Nigerian life with a hilarious twist.
Long before his rise on social media, FunnyFreakc had already stepped into Nollywood. In 2017, he produced several movies now available in the local market, including:
•FATHER IMO
•NGOZI THE DREAMER
•MATTHIAS GOES TO WAR
These early projects gave him hands-on experience in storytelling, acting, and production — skills that now enhance the quality of his viral skits and short films.
Today, FunnyFreakc is focused on growing his brand, collaborating with fellow creators, and raising the bar in Nigeria’s digital comedy space. His journey from the streets of Owerri to becoming a household name on TikTok is proof that with consistency and talent, anything is possible.
