And by the end of the night, one name had captured the hearts of the judges, audience, and viewers alike; Somto Alexander Nnoruga.

Crowned as the new king, Somto emerged as a standout from the beginning of the competition. Charismatic, intelligent, self-assured, and effortlessly stylish, checking all the boxes.

Born and raised in the serene town of Isuofia in Aguata LGA, Anambra State, Somto is the last-born and only son in a family of five, surrounded by four strong-willed sisters who helped shape the man he is today. Growing up in such a dynamic household instilled in him early the values of empathy, discipline, and vision, qualities that now define his approach to life and work.

At a young age, Somto is already a man of many lanes. His modeling journey began with BETH Modeling Agency Nigeria, where he was introduced to the world of fashion and high-end visuals. But it wasn’t long before he branched out into freelancing, driven by a desire to build something more personal, his own brand. Today, he’s worked with top Nigerian brands, photographers, and stylists, bringing sharp angles, clean aesthetics, and an undeniable energy to every shoot. He is confident without being arrogant. Stylish without trying too hard. And always, always intentional.

But Somto isn’t stopping at fashion.

He’s a full-on athlete at heart. An aspiring professional footballer who spends just as much time on the pitch as he does in front of a camera. The same discipline that keeps him booked in modeling is what fuels his training sessions, as he prepares to someday play on an international field.

Then there’s his growing interest in interior design, a space where he expresses a different side of his creativity. For Somto, it’s about creating environments that feel like peace, balance, and self-expression. His love for design speaks to a thoughtful, detail-oriented side that complements the bold, high-energy persona the public sees.

Winning Misters of Nigeria is a huge milestone. This title gives him a platform, but the vision has been in motion for a while now. He’s here to inspire young Nigerians to dream big, chase multiple passions, and never let anyone define their lane for them.
