A middle-aged woman, popularly known as Fatty, has been found dead in Osere Odo-Efo community in Ilorin-West LGA of Kwara State at the weekend.

City & Crime gathered that the deceased had been mentally unstable since the death of her mother some years ago.

She was said to be in her early 30s and still single. She had been buried at the Muslim cemetery, Osere, when our correspondent visited the scene of the incident on Monday.

Fatty, it was further gathered, lived in her late mother’s uncompleted building where one of her sisters usually came around to give her food.

“Her sister discovered her corpse in the building which also had their mother’s grave when she came to give her food at the weekend.

“Members of the community had started perceiving an odour a few days before the discovery of the corpse but could not locate the source where the odour was coming from,” Mrs Angela, a resident said.

The Magaji of Osere, Alhaji Yakub Abdulqodir, only said: “That is how we  saw it.”
