The Methodist Church of Nigeria has decried the continuous falling standard of education in the country and has called on governments at all levels to pool resources and salvage the situation.
This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the 53rd annual synod of the Methodist Church Nigeria, held at the Wesley Cathedral Kaduna and jointly signed by the Archbishop of Kaduna Diocese, The Most Reverend Sunday O. Idoko and the Synod Secretary of Kaduna, The Very Reverend Samuel S. Obeka.
It said statistics revealed that a good number of youths are migrating to neighbouring West Africa, European and American institutions to acquire education due to low standard.
