His movie-themed album has been reviewed as a well-above-average effort partly because its concept is original and different from the normal rap releases we get to see. Mr Abaga brings a breath of fresh air to rhythm and applied poetry; impressing hip hop heads as well as those who, hitherto, didn’t give a hoot about the art form. If there was ever any rapper that rapped for ‘mechanics and shoemakers’, MI is that man (Apologies to Ruggedman, the revolutionary rapper who first brought ‘real’ rap to mainstream hitherto-uncultivated audiences). The culture is the better for it, and many are already taking a cue from him.

Now, M.I will be taking his ‘movie’ to the United Kingdom for an overseas launch as he and his label mates at Chocolate City – Jesse Jagz, Iceprince and BrymO will be at the Indigo O2 Arena on Thursday, April 28, 2011 to entertain fans and all as he breaks down MI2.

Other appearances will be from a couple of acts that ‘cameod’ on the album like Praiz and Loose Kaynon.
