Mikano Motors’ partnership with Miss Nigeria Pageant has come alive with the official handover of a brand- new Changan Eado Plus to the newly crowned 45th Miss Nigeria, lawyer and model, Doris Ogah.

The presentation of the luxury sedan, a product of Changan, known for its stylish design and advanced features, was attended by Chairman of Mikano International, Mr. Mofid Karameh, representatives of Changan and those of Mikano Motors.

According to Mikano Motors, the Eado Plus symbolises the values of innovation and excellence that is synonymous with the Changan brand, an ideal match for the current Miss Nigeria.

Chairman of Mikano International who expressed excitement with the partnership with Miss Nigeria project said it aligns with Mikano’s commitment to support excellence, innovation and empowerment, which the Changan models also represent.

He explained that Chinese cars compete with some of the best cars in the world, adding that no brand gives a six-year warranty with unlimited mileage like the Changan models.

Group Executive Director of Mikano International, Joelle Haykal, said, “This partnership represents our commitment to empowering women and supporting local talent within our communities, in line with Miss Nigeria’s theme for this year, “Cultural Heritage and Community Engagement”.

Nollywood Actress and Chairman of the Miss Nigeria board, Mrs. Rita Dominic-Anosike stated that the car symbolises more than mobility but a drive to fulfil purpose as an ambassador for change.

She said the Miss Nigeria Pageant represents empowerment of women, adding, “Our organisation is here to empower young women across the country. I was asked a question during the press briefing and the question was what does this do and how does this inspire other young women and this is so inspirational in the sense that many women in our country are very intelligent, they have a lot to offer you know, beyond beauty and giving them such a platform helps them to be that which they are meant to be.”
