Milk consumption can reduce malnutrition- Fries land Campina

The Managing Director of Fries land Campina WAMCO Nigeria Plc., Mr. Rahul Colaco gave the advice at 60th anniversary programme of the company in the country at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Saturday.
According to him, the company embraced the challenge of helping malnourished and poor children to overcome this scourge by assisting with the provision of quality milk brands in Nigeria.
He stressed the need to develop more sufficiency in milk provision.
Colaco explained that milk is much more nourishing to the human health saying that is also the need to achieve good and delicate balance because of its perishable ability.
He said Fries land Campina WAMCO has upgraded its facilities to meet global standards and help achieve minimum national adequate consumption of milk products.
He said every household knows that it has not had breakfast if its without milk because of its nutritional value.
He stated that the river, mountain and canoe symbols on Peak milk package represent nature, strength and success as people live more happy and healthier live with milk.
Colaco hinted that the firm  has about N4billion investments facilities to boosts its operations Nigeria,   in milk tankers and wants to contribute to ensuring fresh local milk in Nigeria.
He disclosed that the diary giant’s investment in Nigeria is to stimulate sustainability in the diary products sector saying it is key to the country’s overall economic growth.
He said, “Over the last 60 years, Peak has continued to be strong throughout several changes in the market. We attribute our success to two things. First, our focus is to consistently nourish Nigerians with quality dairy nutrition in order to reach their Peak.
