Minister, Governor to be honored at Africa Value Awards

The Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, and Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, are set to be honored, alongside others, at the 4th edition of the Africa Value Awards.

The African Value Awards is one that continually celebrates Africans making great impacts and promoting excellence on the continent.

The event is scheduled to hold on the 12th November 2024 at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

At a press briefing, Mr Kingsley J Dakorubo, Executive Director of VARDIAFRICA, organisers of African Entrepreneurs and Investors Roundtable-AFEIR and Africa Value Awards-AVA, stated that the event was designed to recognize outstanding individuals and organisations that have made meaningful contributions towards advancing entrepreneurship, human capital as well as social development.

He said the governor has distinguished himself in championing economic development which has helped to put Kaduna State on the world map.

He said Musawa has distinguished herself with initiatives that is currently promotive the creative industry in the country.

He reiterated the importance of entrepreneurship as a key antidote for the scourge of unemployment, crime and poverty as he encouraged Opinion leaders, government and private institutions, religious leaders and all relevant stakeholders to keep propounding the message of entrepreneurship and investment drive to boost the domestic economy.

He also used the medium to congratulate the Kaduna State Governor, as well as other awardees for their nominations saying they were well deserved.

Among the nominees are Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of State for Youth Development, Hannatu Musa Musawa the Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy and Ace Nigerian Actor/Movie producer, Dr. Uzee Usman.
