The minister, who stated this in Abuja at a meeting with the executives of PTA of unity schools, said doing so will help the association address its challenges.
She said there was need to look into the state of the accounts because many parents have complained to the ministry about the lack of accountability by the people in charge of the accounts.
Onwuliri commended some PTA members who she said have supported the federal government in the running of the schools, advising that only meaningful projects should be embarked on by the schools.
“We should be good example to our children whom we are trying to take care of,” she added.
