The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Muhammad Bello, has called on Corps members to complement government’s efforts in promoting oneness, solidarity and unity of the country.

Speaking in Abuja during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation course, he warned the Corps members against the spread of fake news.

He assured of the administration’s commitment to the welfare and security of all the corps members serving in the territory.

Bello disclosed the FCTA’s plans to launch an All-inclusive Talent Hunt to unravel creative and innovative works, saying that the criterion for the selection will be tailored alongside the NYSC model.

On his part, the FCT NYSC Coordinator, Ballama Birniwa, assured the minister and the corps members of their commitment to the sustenance of the scheme’s mandate of instilling the spirit of discipline, tolerance, self-reliance and loyalty through the various trainings and induction.
