The Minister of Environment, Hajiya Amina J. Mohammed, has promised to landscape Kaduna Capital School, her alma mater.
The minister also pledged to improve power situation in the school by providing it with solar power device.
She made this promises during the commissioning of the Kaduna Capital School Old Boys Association (KADCAPSOSA) Secretariat in the school, recently.
She described the decline in education standard and student achievement as worrisome, adding that she would help in improving the school’s infrastructure to enhance learning.
She attributed the insecurity bedeviling the nation on lack of education, saying: “In my days, there was no war and we didn’t have to build high fences. But today, Nigeria, as a nation, is divided along religious and ethnic lines. We must find ways to take Nigeria back to what it used to be.”
