The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has trained 247 youths from the six states of the North Eastern on various trades, including aluminum assembling and fabrication and vulcanising and given then starter packs under its N-Skills programme.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony on Wednesday in Bauchi, the Deputy Director, Research, Planning and Statistics of the ministry, Ali Garba, said, “The small sum of N10,000 will be given to each of the trainees during apprenticeship for six months. The beneficiaries would be deployed to master craft trainers for apprenticeship.”
