He said this at the graduation ceremony of 200 youths trained in leather works at the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), Zaria, Kaduna State.
Adesina, represented by Mrs Bello Scholastica, the Director, Youth Agenda of the ministry, said the training would enable the trainees to become self-reliant and employers of labour.
“I hope you will make use of this knowledge to change your lives for the better. I believe with consistent production, you will produce for local and foreign consumption.’’
In his speech, the Director-General, NILEST, Dr Isuwa Adamu, described the leather industry as vital to the nation’s economic revival. (NAN)
