An 80-year-old man, Malam Rabiu, who was declared missing for six days has been found dead in a well in his house in the Sabon Sara area of Gwale LGA of Kano State.
Spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, who disclosed this, stated that the service’s control room received a call from one Hassan Abdullahi at 11am reporting an incident in Sabon Sara.

He further said, “Our rescue team reached the location at 11:07am and found that Rabiu, an 80-year-old man, known as Na Allah Siraka, had been trapped inside a well in his own house for six days.”
Abdullahi, who noted that the victim lived alone in the house, said his corpse was handed over to the Ward Head of Sabo Sara, Muhammad Salisu Imam.
He added that the incident was under investigation.
