Already, a nine member caretaker committee has been formed for the association under the chairmanship of Alhaji Adamu Juli.Members of the association from all the 17 local government areas of Yobe State had at their meeting held in Damaturu, applauded the activities of its immediate past leadership which they said had brought positive changes to Fulani cattle rearers.

Specifically, the last leadership was said to have promoted peaceful coexistence between farmers and grazers through periodic meetings, collaborated with the state government which led to the vaccination 1,750,000 cows, sheep, goats and camels between 2009 and this year as well as the resuscitation of six grazing reserves across the state.
