Mob sets 2 ‘bandits’’ corpses ablaze in Kaduna

A mob has set ablaze two corpses suspected to be those of bandits in Nasarawa-Azzara community in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.

City & Crime earlier reported that soldiers killed three suspected bandits in their hideout in neighbouring Azzara village last Wednesday.

A community leader, who disclosed the incident to our reporter on Sunday, said the two corpses were found in a forest in neighbouring Hayin-Dam.

A vigilante, simply identified as Hassan, said that before vigilantes could get to the scene after the discovery, some youths had already burnt the corpses.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, could not be reached for comment on the incident.
