‘Mobilise votes for Jonathan’

Speaking when the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Goodluck Continuity Forum 2015 paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja, Okoya said President Goodluck Jonathan is a better and preferred candidate of the electorate owing to his performance and democratic posture while in office in the last six years.
The AMMC co-ordinator  said President Jonathan has performed remarkably well in the areas of agriculture, infrastructural development, railway, education and health sectors, adding that the opposition cannot fault these achievements.
Okoya, who is also the grand patron of the forum, said in view of these achievements, many Nigerians preferred Jonathan and would not want the country to be drawn back to the dark days adding that only the man can guaranteed better future for the people.
The grand patron who described Jonathan as a detribalised leader, whose democratic posture has contributed to the nation’s enduring democratic culture, however urged the group to go all out to mobilise the people to vote en masse for President Jonathan so that he can do more for the people.
Earlier, national co-ordinator of the forum, Chief Geoffrey Onwubuya disclosed that the forum came into being to support and work for the re-election of Dr Jonathan in the presidential elections.
