The principal of Model Secondary School Maitama, Abuja, Mrs Patience E. Oti, has said 208 SSS3 students have graduated from the school.

Mrs Oti stated this at the 2017/2018 graduation and speech/prize-giving day, organized by the school, in Abuja, yesterday.

She said the school organized the event to celebrate and encourage the students to be hard working in their future endeavours.

“We are aware that when students are to graduate there is need to celebrate them and get them to understand that they are passing out from a school to a new world where they are going to experience different things. So there is a need for us to guide them. To the glory of God we graduated 208 students”.

The principal who expressed happiness for the students’ performance in their WASSCE, said the out-going students were disciplined and hard working.

She urged the students to make use of entrepreneurial and empowerment skills in contributing to the economy of the country.

Speaking earlier, the chairman of FCT Secondary Schools Education Board who was represented by the Deputy Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mrs Habibat Kolo, urged the grandaunts to be focused in their future endeavours.
