Mohammed reappointed provost FCE (Technical) Potiskum

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renewal of the appointment of Malam Madu Mohammed as Provost of Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum, Yobe State.

The appointment letter signed by Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu dated June 29, 2017 stated that the renewal of the appointment is for the second and final term of four years with effect from July 14, 2017. 

It stated that the conditions of service, including remunerations and fringe benefits shall be as approved for Provosts in Federal Colleges of Education.

The statement expressed President Buhari`s congratulations and best wishes for the provost’s   successful tenure.

Madu Mohammed was born on April 13, 1957. He hails from Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State.  Madu gained admission into the University of Sokoto where he studied BA (English) and graduated in 1983. He obtained his Masters Degree (Guidance and Counseling) in 1989 from the University of Jos in Plateau State and later enrolled into University of Nigeria, Nsukka for his PhD programme.
