The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has informed that it has reopened the investigation into the allegation of se3ual molestation against a Lagos-based businessman, Emeka Uyaelumuo.
The public relations officer of NAPTIP, Vincent Adekoye, informed Daily Trust during an interview that the matter was being investigated by the agency.
He said, “Investigation is ongoing on that matter, please.”
He explained that the Abuja office was collaborating with Lagos, where the incident occurred to conduct the investigation.
It was learnt from sources that the case file was being transferred from Lagos to Abuja.

Uyaelumuo, who is popularly known as “Dallas”, was alleged to have se3ually abused an underage girl, Felicia Ogbonna, after she joined his family as a domestic help in 2021, forcing her to escape from his house to Benue State after months of saving up on fare.
In a reminder letter by her lawyer, Martin Agba Esq, dated April 2, 2025, the family requested the Director General of NAPTIP to ascertain the status of the investigation, whether there is any pending legal action against the suspect, and any progress since the matter was reopened in March
According to the lawyer, “When the victim confided in his wife, who is her aunt’s cousin, she not only dismissed the allegations but actively supported her husband. She forced the victim to wear waist beads, record sensual videos for him, and even physically abused her whenever she refused to comply with his demands.”
