Spears, who is a mother of two, has not been fortunate in marriage having married twice and had two children within the space of three years. Her first marriage to childhood friend, Jason Allen Alexander, lasted only 55 minutes.

“He is the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying,” the star’s mother said. “He is stable and the kids love him.”

Spears has been recovering from drug related problems and a long drawn out custody battle with former hubby and father of her two sons, Kevin Federline. She is currently on a come back to the music industry and her producer, Jive, will be releasing her greatest hits album, The Singles Collection, November 24.

Trawick has been Spears manager for five years and their relationship has evolved into a romantic one. He had been quoted as saying he won’t be one of her Boy Toys, referring to her previous relationships.
