Speaking to Sunday Trust on the issue, the administrative and human resources manager of the company, Sally Deng said more Hausa and Indian channels will be added to carter for the peculiar needs of the Kano/Hausa populace who mostly preferred watching such channels

Deng said a survey carried out by the company showed that majority of Hausa viewers prefer Hausa and Indian films to any other channel and therefore decided to give what will satisfy their taste. She said the channels will be in full operation by mid November.

She also said the channels will be of improved quality and signal with wider coverage when finally in operation. She said the channels will be accessible through the StarTimes decoder, operational without external dish.

Deng said similar channels peculiar to people of Lagos and Enugu will also be launched concurrently with the Kano Hausa and Indian channels.
