The Literary Society of Nigeria (LSN) has said more young people are obtaining graduate degrees these days.
LSN president, Associate Professor Emmanuel Adeleke, said this at the 2019 annual conference of the society.
“Nigeria is doing well in education when you look at the achievement of youngsters. We have a lot of youths who attained their doctorate degrees at a younger age compared to what we used to have,” he said.
He, however, said universities were in shambles which explained why academic unions were in the forefront in advocating for better funding for higher education.
