Former Spain coach Robert Moreno was reportedly sacked by Russia’s FC Sochi after relying heavily on ChatGPT.
FC Sochi’s former general director revealed that the ex-coach regularly relied on ChatGPT for training sessions tactics and even team travel while at the club.
The neural network created training schedules and offered “brilliant” advice, such as not sleeping for 28 hours before a match or waking up at 5:00 AM.
Under Moreno’s leadership, Sochi were relegated from the Russian Premier League to the First League. In the autumn of 2025, the coach was sacked after the team managed just one point from seven league matches
