‘Mothers are priceless in nation building’

He made this assertion recently while playing host to the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN), Abuja chapter, in his office.

Calling on them to mobilize themselves for and render good services to God and the nation, the NCPC scribe encouraged Christian women not to relent in prayers for the country.

“It is only with our prayers to God that our country can move forward. With prayers nothing is impossible.

“If God had given one the opportunity to serve in any capacity, the person is supposed to work selflessly without blame.

“Relationships can fail but the only constant one in life should be your relationship with God,” Opara sermonised.

He advised the women to be disciplined and inspire their children to learn as “it is the sole responsibility of the mother to ensure that a child is morally and spiritually sound.”

Earlier, the chairperson of WOWICAN FCT Chapter, Evangelist (Mrs) Philo Uche thanked Opara for his selfless service to the country and the association.

Uche said, “We have come to show appreciation for your support to us and for putting smiles on our faces”.

She prayed God to enthrone permanent peace in the country and grant President Jonathan the wisdom to steer the ship of leadership of Nigeria.

The women prayed for Nigeria, the president and NCPC after presenting a thank you card and a wrapper to Opara.
