The Wife of the President, Hajiya A’isha Buhari, has commissioned the Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association (NAFOWA) Little Angels Primary School at the NAF Base in Kaduna.
The school, established in 1999, was recently renovated by the NAFOWA.
Speaking at the event, Mrs Buhari, represented by the wife of the Kaduna State Governor, Hajiya Hadiza el-Rufa’i, said that the school was meant to offer quality education to the children of Air Force personnel and their neighbours. She said that children should be equipped with effective communication skills to succeed in the future.
The school had 12 furnished classrooms, science, home economics and computer laboratories, library, conference center, sick bay, play and assembly ground, among others.
The NAFOWA National President, Hajiya Hafsat Sadique Baba, said that the school had conducive learning environment for 400 pupils.
