Although she had opted to remain silent while her husband continued to race for the plum Eagles job, few hours before Siasia was pronounced Eagles Chief Coach, she opened up to Trustsports and confessed that it’s amazing how much her husband is popular among Nigerians.

She said knowing that Nigerians, especially the football crazy ones believe whole heartedly in her husband makes her extremely happy and proud to be associated with him.

Mrs. Siasia noted that nothing good comes easy but as long as Nigerians believe in her husband, he will not let them down.

She said: “It is a wonderful to know that everybody believes in your husband. And whenever you hear them talk, you feel proud of your husband.

Mrs. Siasia said because she also believes firmly in the abilities of her husband, she is always encouraging him to reach for the top in his chosen career.

“He is a coach and that is what he is and that is what he does. So definitely He should be encouraged in one way or the other to go to the highest”.
