The first ISO certification was awarded to MTN in 2010, with a 3-year validity. It was renewed by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria upon confirmation that MTN has performed excellently during the post certification surveillance audits of the quality management system of the company.
“We are extremely delighted to announce that MTN Nigeria has been re-awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality system management,” said Lynda Saint-Nwafor, MTN Chief Technical Officer.
