Telecommunication firm, MTN has renovated Iwerekun Community High School, public secondary school in Lagos in an effort to deepen its commitment to improve learning standard.
The Chief Financial Officer, MTN Nigeria Modupe Kadri who expressed delight over the firm’s contribution to education sector development, said the gesture was part of the annual corporate social responsibility campaign, Y’ello Care, themed: “Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow.”
“When we embarked on this project, could not have anticipated the significant impact we would achieve. We have successfully created an environment that paves the way for a brighter future for these children, thanks to the generous contributions from everyone at MTN and our partners.
“Over the past 30 days, we have truly embodied the spirit of giving, one of our most important values. Let’s celebrate our collective success,” he said.
