Multi-sectoral and collective efforts are critical to tackling drug abuse in Nigeria, Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has said.
He stated this Sunday during the commissioning of the Kawara Sports and Recreational Centre in Kebbi State. The centre is part of the efforts of the first lady of the state, Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu and the Northern Governors Wives forum towards addressing drug abuse in the state .

A statement by Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser Media to the governor, said the commissioning coincided with the 2022 International Youths Day as well as the Quarterly meeting of the Wives of the Northern Governors in Birnin Kebbi.
The governor commended his wife and her colleagues at the NGWF for their efforts in curbing the drugs menace in the state, the north and the country at large.
