A 48-year-old housewife, Edith Dominic, and her 16-year-old daughter, were on Wednesday brought before a Badagry magistrates’ court in Lagos State for pouring hot water on a woman.

The prosecutor, ASP Clément Okuoimose, told the court that the defendants assaulted and poured hot water on Ms Chinonye Umeh on May 28, at about 12am in Igbanko area of Lagos State.

The Magistrate, Fadahunsi Adefioye, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N100,000 each with two sureties in like sum and adjourned to June 22. (NAN)
