The newly sworn-in executives include Alhaji Mufutau Adeyemo who will serve as president, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Usman as first vice president, Alhaji Jimoh Awodi as second vice president, Abdulhakeem Mutiullahi Ajeseku as general secretary, Alhaji Saddiq Tajudeen as first assistant secretary, Ustaz Abdullateef Oyewo as second assistant secretary, Ustaz Mikail Muhammad as treasurer, Mallam Ismail Abubakar as financial secretary and Badmus Abdullateef as public relation officer.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony, the Chief Imam of the council, Sheikh Daniyanlu Shitta-Bay stressed the need for leaders in the country to have the fear of Allah in their daily undertakings.
He also cautioned leaders  against embarking on lopsided projects and programmes that may not benefit the electorates.
The council which has about 75 Islamic societies under its Umbrella in Kaduna has as part of its objectives to promote unity among various Muslim societies in Nigeria, to serve as coordinating body and mouth-piece for all member societies as well as to assist in eradicating all forms of evil that may creep into Islam.
