The Muslim Sisters Organisation (MSO) will today in Abuja holds its 29th National Conference at the Abuja National Mosque.
The National PRO of the MSO, Hajiya Aisha Umar Yusuf, said in a statement that the three-day event with the theme “Moulding the next generation: Tasks before the Muslim Ummah” will be chaired by the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof Is-haq Oloyede.
The First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, would be the Special Guest of Honour, while the Chief Host is the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello.
“The opening ceremony, which is scheduled for Friday (today), is taking place at the Abuja National Mosque Auditorium. Our royal father of the day will be the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar. Also top grace the occasion is Hajiya Aisha Abubakar, Minister of Women Affairs as mother of the day.
“Erudite Islamic scholar, Dr. Abdulfatah Adeyemi, will deliver the keynote address, while several esteemed Islamic scholars will deliver papers related to the theme, throughout the conference,” Hajiya Yusuf said.
