Muslims across the world have been encouraged to see trials they go through as a blessing from Allah to help strengthen their faith.

The co-founder of thedeensisters.org, Halima Bello Damagum, gave the advice on Saturday in Abuja.

She was speaking at the launch of her 237-page book, ‘Reclaim your potential: A guide to becoming the Muslimah you’ve always wanted to be.’

She also said that trials often serve as means by which Muslims find their ways back to Allah after struggles to attain worldly life.

Damagum, who noted that the six-chapter book addresses her struggles in finding Allah, said it also touched “on the war we all fight as Muslims with our nafs (inner self of soul) and how winning the war can only be through holding on to the rope of Allah and his messenger.”
