Budding Nigerian artiste, Elvis Chidubem Martins widely known as YungMillz, has said his music is aimed at addressing various problems in the society.
The entertainer, who hails from Anambra State but was born and raised in the Festac Town area of Lagos, disclosed that beyond providing some form of excitement to listeners, his sound aims to draw public attention to key issues with the goal of finding lasting solutions to such for the benefit of all.
YungMillz, who is currently studying Mass Communication at the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, made the disclosure during the release of his debut single titled ‘Sista Precious’.
He added that one of his major targets as a musician was to win Grammy Awards in the very near future.
Speaking further, the young musician said, “My sound is unique in the sense that it not only entertains listeners but also help to draw their minds to many of the problems faced in the society today.
“The end goal of my songs is to help ensure that solutions are found to the barrage of challenges bedevilling our society today.
“As for my new single, it is about an experience I and my friends had at the hands of a lady.
“But even though it is a reference to that incident, the song has an addictive tune that makes you want to listen to it over and over again.
“I won’t stop helping to address critical issues in our society through music.”
