N30,000 minimum wage begins in Bauchi

The Bauchi State government has approved the implementation of the consequential adjustment of the N30, 000 minimum wage to the state civil servants on Grade Level 07 and above in both state and local government levels with effect from December 1st, 2022.

The Permanent Secretary, Establishment, and Servicom Matters Bureau, Office of the Head of Civil Service, Barrister Muhammad Sani Umar, said that in a Circular issued dated Nov 29, 2022, and made available to newsmen Wednesday in Bauchi.

The statement also disclosed that Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the implementation of the financial benefits on staff promotions in both state and local government services with effect from December 1st, 2022.
