The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has inaugurated a Procurement Planning Committee that will ensure a robust implementation of the organisation’s 2016 capital projects.
Speaking during the inauguration, Director General of NACA, Professor John Idoko, called on members of the committee to do in their best in order to avoid past mistakes.
He said that the inaugurated committee will prepare the needs assessment and evaluation of required goods, works and services for the implementation of 2016 capital projects by the agency and also advertise and solicit for bids in adherence to the procurement act as well as invitation of credible persons from relevant bodies to serve as observers in every procurement process of the organisation.
