NAF commissions housing projects in Kaduna

As part of efforts towards uplifting and upgrading the various facilities in the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) operational units, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar has commissioned  some  projects at the NAF base in Kaduna.
The projects commissioned include: The Air Warrant Officers’ house, two blocks of 3 Bedroom Duplexes at Happier Valley, a road network of about six roads and Air Marshal Sadique B. Abubakar garden.
Speaking at the commissioning, the Air boss  said  that the  commissioned  projects would  add  to the comfort and welfare of air  personnel as a conducive working environment  improve productivity.
He said, “The need to reposition this base therefore becomes more evident considering the role it plays in the welfare of NAF personnel serving in and outside Kaduna, especially in terms of accommodation.
“Accordingly, we have embarked on projects to put in place the necessary infrastructure that would enable personnel function optimally.”
He expressed delight over the completion of the projects, which he said was done through direct labour and    had saved NAF resources as well as improved the technical capacity of its personnel.
