The authorities of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have invited foreign exhibitors through a company based in Dubai to participate in their celebration of the 60 years of the force where a conference and exhibition will be held.
The force also said it had fully prepared to showcase its capabilities through research and development efforts as part of activities to celebrate the anniversary, calling on Nigerians to join them in the celebration.
The Chairman, Organising Committee for NAF’s 60th Anniversary Celebration, Air Vice Marshal Michael Ekwueme, who stated this at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, said DICON would be leading the Nigerian military industrial complex made up of several local defence equipment manufacturers.
Ekwueme noted that the anniversary was not only a time for celebration, but also a moment for deep reflection on the accomplishments and challenges of NAF, as well as charting the way forward.
