This is just as the association called on the students to reciprocate the gesture by being intellectually sound with a view to making meaningful contributions for the overall development of the state and the country at large.
A communique issued by the group’s vice president Adamu Matazu said it resolved to pass “a vote of confidence [on] the governor of the state, Ibrahim Shema, over the progressive reduction of school fees in the state owned university.”
“As we appreciate and celebrate this giant stride by the state governor who is geared toward the upliftment and betterment of the education sector, we appeal to the student of the university to reciprocate the gesture by being intellectually sound so as to be able to contribute meaningfully to the good governance of the state and the overall development of the country,” he said.
