The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have backed the organised labour demand for a new national minimum wage of N30, 000.
The students union apex body made it position known in Abuja over the weekend.
NANS National President Comrade Bamidele Danielson urged the federal and state governments as well as the private sector to immediately accept the “meagre” N30,000 minimum wage demanded by labour.
“Therefore, NANS salutes the organised labour for living up to the struggle. We pledge to stand with them shoulder to shoulder.”
